About Us

People is Our Mission

We believe that we are here to fulfill the purposes of God, the creator. As the creation cannot determine its own purpose but must inquire of the creator, we find that His plan centers on His ultimate creation: People. He wants to restore people into His original design as He created them in His very own image. He wants to empower us, His creation, to be the ambassadors to the world to bring others into His plan as well. Thus, the purpose of the church is not the building, programs, or organization but PEOPLE.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

Our Story

In the 1990s, a group of college students in Arlington, Texas, began to meet to worship together in an apartment. Their shared passion for spiritual growth led to these gatherings to grow into a church, initially part of the Indonesian Full Gospel Fellowship, later known as IFGF.

As the group grew, they met in hotels and realized the need for a dedicated pastor. In July 2002, Pastor Jeremy Soewargo took on this role at the church, and moved to Dallas, Texas from Jakarta, Indonesia. The church changed its name to International Full Gospel Fellowship Dallas (IFGF Dallas) and was recognized as a nonprofit in 2003.

Over the years, IFGF Dallas moved through several locations, including Dallas, Farmer's Branch, Carrollton, and Plano, always adapting and looking forward. The community's prayers for a permanent place were answered in September 2021, when we were able to purchase our current building. Acquiring this building during the financial challenges of a pandemic was a significant achievement, marking a major milestone for our church.

Looking back, our church has been blessed by God's faithfulness and goodness and we are excited to see how He will continue to use our community for His glory.
